Cross-platform laptop and PC diagnostic application for Windows and Linux, used in high-volume device refurbishment workflows.
What I did
Inherited an existing WebNevisan codebase; later became responsible for major feature development, maintenance, debugging and support. Routine ownership was eventually transitioned to a newer team member as Amin moved to more complex projects.
Highlights
- Worked across CPU, RAM, battery, keyboard, USB, GPU, storage and other hardware diagnostic flows.
- Designed and added the disk-wipe module with Quick, NIST and Purge modes.
- Added new diagnostic steps, extensive UI/UX redesigns and parallel wipe/diagnostic execution paths.
- Integrated with multiple backend APIs for authentication, verification, keep-alive and result submission.
- Built, debugged and tested both Windows and Linux releases in production-oriented workflows.
